Most merciful Father, You so loved the world that You sent Your only Son to earth to redeem and save us. In obedience to Your will He humbled Himself, even to death on a cross. He continues to offer Himself daily through the ministry of His priests for the living and the dead. We humbly pray, that motivated by a living faith, we may always assist with devotion and reverence at the oblation of his most precious Body and Blood which is made at Mass. In this way, we share in the supreme sacrifice which He accomplished on Cavalry; and His resurrection from the dead. In union with the whole Church, and in the company of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the angels and saints, we now offer the adorable sacrifice of the Mass to Your honor and glory. In it we acknowledge Your infinite perfections, Your supreme dominion over all creatures, our entire submission to You and our dependence on Your gracious providence. We offer it in thanksgiving for Your goodness to us and the forgiveness of our sins. We offer it also for the spread of the Catholic Church throughout the world and for our Pope, bishop and all the pastors that they may direct the faithful in the way of salvation.  In this Mass, we pray for peace and goodwill among all peoples and for the needs of our world. May we, here present, receive grace to live a Christian life in this world in order to be with You in the world to come. We offer it for the eternal repose of the faithful departed. In this Mass, we remember, with gratitude, all that Your Son Jesus Christ suffered for love of us as we commemorate His bitter passion and death and his glorious resurrection and ascension into heaven. We offer it for all the intentions agreeable to Your Holy will through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who is both priest and victim. We make our prayer in the name of the most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit to whom be honor, praise and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
