O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

We begin the rosary by blessing ourselves with the crucifix and saying at the same time: "Incline unto my aid, O God; O Lord, make haste to help me". Say one "Our Father" and three "Hail Mary's" and one "Glory Be". Announce the mystery and meditate upon it while saying one "Our Father" and ten "Hail Mary's". This completes one decade, and all the other decades are said in the same manner with a different mystery meditated during each decade. Each decade is concluded whith a "Glory Be". At the end of the rosary, say the "Hail Holy Queen".

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen. (said after every Glory Be to the Father)

O glorious Virgin Mary. Queen of Caramel, Mother of God and of poor sinners; special Protectress of all those who wear your holy Scapular, I beseech you, by the glory that has been accorded you by the Incarnate Word in choosing you for His Mother, to obtain for me the pardon of my sins, amendment of my life, salvation of my soul, consolation in my pains, and in particular the grace I now ask ____________ provided it be the will of your divine Son. Amen.

Merciful Father, grant that we Your children let the words of Our Lady of Guadalupe penetrate our souls: "I am your merciful Mother, the Mother of all who live united in this land, and all of mankind, of all those who love me, of those who cry to me, of those who have confidence in me. Here I will hear their weeping and their sorrows, and will remedy and alleviate their sufferings, necessities and misfortunes. Do not be troubled or weighed down with grief. Do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your mother? Are you not under my shadow and my protection? Am I not your fountain of Life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? is their anything else you need?"

O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, health of the sick, refuge of sinners, comforter of the afflicted, you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings; look with mercy on me. By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, where you dispense your favors; and already many sufferers have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and corporal. I come, therefore, with complete confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain, O loving Mother the grant of my requests (here mention the grace desired). Through gratitude for your favors, I will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that I may one day share in your glory. Amen.

Madonna and Child

Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, we belive in your triumphant assumption into heaven where the angels and saints acclaim you as Queen. We join them in praising you and bless the Lord who raised you above all creatures. With them we offer our devotion and love. We are confident that you watch over our daily efforts and needs, and we take comfort from our faith in the coming resurrection. We look to you, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. After this earthly life, show us Jesus, the blest fruit of your womb, O kind, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.
